How is Sever’s Disease Diagnosed?
Diagnosis typically starts with a physical exam and a review of your child’s symptoms and activities. Dr. Rush will check for heel tenderness, swelling, and pain when squeezing the heel. Imaging is rarely needed but may be used to rule out other causes of heel pain if necessary.
